The more you learn about Kamala Harris, the more formidable she appears. She is an amazing amalgam of different elements — highly educated elite meritocrat, Oakland street fighter, crusading, rough-elbow prosecutor, canny machine pol and telegenic rhetorical brawler.
David Brooks is the only conservative I trust and respect. I haven't given Harris much notice before, but with Brooks' recommendation, I'll have to take a closer look.
Brooks isn't a conservative. No conservative would write glowingly about this sleep-around Marxist know-nothing. Let's face it. Kamala is dumber than a box of doughnuts.

Let's see...He endorses Kamala Harris, he's for big government which "nudges" and influences citizens " in a good way," he's a vociferous Never-Trumper, he says that he's a believer in "progressive conservatism" (plain old liberalism), he conflates immigrants with illegal aliens (as liberals do), he rails against "immigrant-bashing nativism"...and if I hear him give any more kudos to RINO globalist, Jeff Flake, I'm gonna spit up.
Memo to liberals: Stop flapping your gums on subjects, like firearms and, now, conservatives, about which you obviously know nothing.
Willie Brown. Did he have unprotected sex with porn stars and playboy bunnies while his wife nursed a newborn? Did he fight his own personal Vietnam by avoiding STDs? Did he sexually assault countless women, not to mention peeping in on teenage pageant girls?
Give me a million Willie Browns over Individual 1.

You brought up Willie Brown, and I’m comparing Willie Brown to the tramp in the Oval Office (Individual 1).
In all honesty, I despised Harris when she and Gillibrand forced Franken out. Although I still think that was a mistake, after listening to her, I kind of like her. We know she's smart, but she seems fun and energetic as well--and like she's not afraid to be herself.
Also--the liberal members of my family, who fall on various points of the spectrum all like her. I think her race is somewhat irrelevant--and she would appeal to minorities, females and progressives in general.
So, right now, I'm thinking Harris/Brown would be a pretty good ticket.
They are both appealing to the left--Harris has a younger, progressive, diverse and female vibe;
Brown would own the Midwest. He's a truly authentic working class champion and very popular in Ohio. I think his earthy authenticity would be a stark contrast to Trump's phoniness and cosmetic vanity.
Harris is young, energetic and smart--also would be huge contrast to old overweight and fairly uninformed, Trump. She would run circles around him.
