It's not up to the USA to judge which country can have weapons to defend itself. And I don't believe that even you believe your rhetoric. You just don't like Iran, because they don't like Israel.
Actually it is up to the US. Until someone becomes more powerful. We could level Tehran and say it was necessary and there’s not a damn thing anyone would do about it.

Since both Russia and China individually have the nuclear capability to destroy the world many times over - the USA is only the most powerful in a conventional warfare sense. In a nuclear war, the USA does not know if it will prevail. And it just can't nuke Iran, because that will spur countries like Russia and China to immediately react.

Not to mention the US doesnt have much ground to stand on with this, as they are the ONLY nation that has EVER used nukes in a time of war...and not just once either!
The US should be the last people making decisions about what other nations can have nukes or not!!

It's very unlikely that they would sacrifice their own countries for Iran. They would gain nothing, and lose pretty much everything.

Whichever country had invented the bomb, allied or axis would have used it. And yes we used as many bombs as it took to finish a war we didn't start.
The Iranians made the decision not to acquire nuclear weapons when they signed the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons in 1968, that says:
Quote:
the NPT non-nuclear-weapon states agree never to acquire nuclear weapons and the NPT nuclear-weapon states in exchange agree to share the benefits of peaceful nuclear technology and to pursue nuclear disarmament aimed at the ultimate elimination of their nuclear arsenals.
Non-nuclear states are all countries who didn't have nuclear weapons on January 1 1967.

It's more likely that the USA won't sacrifice it's country to perform a nuclear holocaust on Iran. The USA has been itching to destroy that country since the revolution but never could bring themselves to do so out of fear of repercussions. Both Russia and China will threaten USA with a war if it thinks to just nuke Iran. Now, who is bluffing and who is serious? The USA doesn't have the balls to find out!
