All online media advertises for members, subscriptions etc, regardless of political ideology. The larger the subscribing base, the more attractive they become to sponsor $.

Thanks, thinkprogress is one of the websites that I won't click on due to their um "quality". They're about a half step better than alex jones' garbage.
I learned long ago that they'll omit information, lie, embellish etc. to get the story the way they and their readers want it. You have to fact check anything they write which defeats the purpose.
This story falls firmly under my policy of "vote with your wallet". *shrug*
Looks like the guy is gonna end up losing his sportswear/shoe business because he “patriotically” removed Nike products from his store over their Kaepernick endorsement.
Big dummy. Meanwhile, Nike is blowing up, feeling no pain from the so-called boycott, and has seen their stocks shoot into the stratosphere.
In this life ya gotta know where your bread is buttered. Nike can crush any obstinate retailer. Their gear is too popular.
The great news is Nike stock has never recovered after their ill-fated decision to promote anti-Americanism. It's 85.55 high in September has never seen that level since.
