Biggest oil producer in the world thanks to President Trump pro-economic growth agenda, tax cuts, common-sense regulations that keep business healthy.
Biggest oil producer in the world is now the United States. So much oil being produced because of President Trump's tax cuts leading to more research and devolopment and doing away with some of Obama's worthless red-tape and regulations that he burdened coal, natural gas and oil industries with.
Big, nice coal recovery also under President Trump. Refined coal production is near record highs thanks in part to President Trump with an increase in feedstock coal production.

Remember when that ****bag Paul Krugman and the other feeble-minded leftist gitts said that there was going to be a depression?
Energy boom...renegotiated trade deals...record unemployment...manufacturing, which Obama said was gone for good, coming back...growth rates Obama's people said were impossible...
If you are still a Dem, it is time to throw in the towel.
You should retitled this thread. I guess you forgot that Obama was President until the end of 2016. From the link you posted it seems US petroleum production went from 5.3 billion to around 9 billion barrels, a 70 percent increase, during Obama's term. That's more on a percentage basis than the increase under Trump.

Give Obama more credit, he was a dirty oil man too.
I'm a bit torn, I want to move toward the green side of energy but I don't want to have to pay the Saudis and be beholden to them or their friends for oil and energy. I never criticized Obama's efforts to improve renewable energy as I think it was partially responsible for lowering oil prices.
Can we agree to develop US sources of energy and employ Americans and at the same time invest in developing renewable energy?

Crediting Obama for the oil boom would be like crediting Clinton with the dot com boom. The oil/gas boom under Obama and Trump would of happened regardless of who was President. The difference now under the Trump administration is energy policies friendly to those industries that can drive even more production. If you can name a single policy under the Obama administration that was favorable to the fossil fuel industry I'm all ears.
