I do support improving train transit in the USA.

It's a shame that Democrats screwed it up and set it back by decades, and most importantly wasted valuable transit capital that could have been used elsewhere. This because they, as usual were using to to push political dogma, and not using it to address actual transit problems.

Fallacy of relative privation.

Trump was right for calling out the loons in CA for wasting all that transit money on a "New Green Deal" project that absolutely failed. They didn't call him Governor Moonbeam for nothing.

They don't call Trump a lying grifeter & con-man for nothing either. He campaigned saying he'd get us out of Afghanistan and has done nothing in more than two years to get that done. Defend him as much as you please, his word is meaningless.

Angry? Nah! I find watching a master con-man at work immensely entertaining! Thankfully I never developed a Kool-Aid habit in my youth.

But I do see your hypocrisy:

Trump waste $$$ good.

Moonbeam waste $$$ baaaaaaaaad.

This absurd vanity project should answer the tiresome question "why doesn't America embrace high-speed rail" once and for all. Let's assume the current cost projection of 77 billion dollars (nearly the double the original projection of 40 billion) holds true. That's $2,000 -- enough to buy about 15 round-trip flights between LA & SF -- for every man, woman and child in California. And that's before a single train ever rolls down the track.

Nothing to see.

Just another angry ranting tweet.

I DO find it funny other states are getting similar projects done. IIRC even TX.
"Just Trump playing to his base who hate CA."

Funny how so many on the left throw around "hate" so much!

As they say, "he throws the insults are usual the one GUILTY of the insult!"

A tweet is not a Presidential demand. A tweet is just a tweet.
