And where would the world be without people like yourself that are so caught up with "labeling" that you can't see the forests for the trees? Yawn...red team/blue team. You root for politicians and parties like they're sports teams. Do keep up the nonsense.

So I asked them one simple question, which was prefaced with the comment that I hadn't decided on who I was going to vote for.....what's so special about the candidate you support (for most of them, that was Clinton)? Within seconds, the first reply was "well Trump....blah, blah, blah. I repeated to them the question and reminded them that I wasn't talking about Trump. When pressed to give some cogent points on why I should vote for the candidate of their choice, it was suddenly crickets. Of course, don't get me wrong. There are certainly some well versed Democrats that can make some points (whether I agree with them or not) that were logical. But I suspect, there are a large percentage that simply don't know anything accept their hateful talking points that are fed to them by the media (and that appears to be the way the Democrats like it)

One of the reasons Democrats hate Trump so much is he gives their crap, and character assassination tactics right back to them. I think there was a large contingency in the country that were quite pleased by that and were sick of the "bully in the room" with their corrupt, manipulative, and hypocritical views. Every stupid little mantra they've used against Republicans they are mirroring now (in particular..."the party of NO"). Their whole end game at this point is to simply obstruct.

I'll settle for a reasonable candidate that can actually show some civility, doesn't act like a 5 year old (and sorry, but if you're going to argue about Trump, then you would have to throw people like Pelosi and Schumer in that same mix), and can work to find some solutions than this obstructionism that is prevalent now.

Why people can't talk about issues and stop with this Red Team/Blue Team BS is beyond me.
I think we're on the same page here. A strong centrist candidate in 2020 would be ideal, IMO... someone who can bridge the divide and pick the best ideas from both sides and minimize disagreement.

The truth is, the chasm separating our two party system is growing larger, and picking leaders on either side leaves half the country happy, and the other half pissed off. It's no way to govern a country. This is why centrism is the only sustainable way forward.

When the economy is good, the POTUS is running above 50-60% in the polls. This is not the case with Trump.

The likely reason Trump will not be re-elected? His utter incompetence and obvious psychosis.

Catching plenty of fish.

As to those conspiring with Russians, we're just getting to that part.

By any chance, did you quit posting long enough yesterday to pay attention to what happened with Manafort and Stone?

Consider this...

Even with the current good economy, tRump is historically unpopular.

If the economy hiccups over the next two years, he'll be in the 20s.

Trump never wanted power and to slaughter any group. For the longest time, he was hesitant to go into politics but seeing the country delve into a door mat for the China's and Mexico's of the world with our leaders in full cohoots (Bill Clinton, Dubya, Obama), he decided he wanted to do something about it.
What???

Trump has been playing with running for POTUS since 1998. He was dead serious in 2000 on the reform ticket.

And every election since then. He could be using running for president as a marketing tool. He worked.
