And he got the attention, the balance of his contractual money (a lot of money), and the lawsuit bag. That’s a nice day at the beach if I must say so myself.

I’m proud of him.
Plus a multi-year contract with Nike.

I think anyone, regardless of their race (which is always paramount to you), should be a failure in this country if they disrespect it.

If this fool wanted to protest anytime while not at work, I would have supported his right to do it, even if I despised what he believed.
However he and other fools chose the one time I and other Americans could not abide by, that being during the National Anthem.
I put my money where my mouth is by giving up premium season tickets I had for years, for a sport I really enjoyed since childhood. I have not watched a game this year, including the super bowl except maybe catching a little glance while in a bar and it happened to be on.
Go to an American Legion, and you will see very few will even have the NFL games on, because the feckless eunuchs in the NFL leadership refused to crack down on their employees.

I wouldn't have cared if the players were white or black racists, you don't disrespect the country, military, LE, and the fans just because you have political grievances.
But I am sure you revel in the anti-white hatred expressed by the BP's and/or BLM types of which I have no doubt you support.

Wow, $60 million? I thought it wasn't about the money? Will he be giving 90% to social activism?

This is why playing the race card and being a victim is such a big business in America, he earned more by kneeling than he ever did playing.
Good for him! Bravo.

between 2 and 2.5 mil per team payout = ~60-80M, sounds about right. Might even be over 100M

don't worry, pea brain is likely to blow through that money and more by the time he's 40. Maybe Nike will give him more money then. Don't expect any of that money to go to any activist cause though...

Kap & Nessa just got paid

Agreed, nothing like fooling your followers that you're a social activist for free money. Race baiting pays very well.

Imagine if MLK could be bought off that easy.

Easiest payoff the NFL ever made all the while the empty gesture of kneeling is long gone.

Yep, I agree, glad that he got paid.

Once again, the NFL owners show they are a detestable lot.

This has nothing to do with anti white or BP/BLM whatsoever. Has nothing to do with patriotism or lack of respect for the United States, the military or any of that stuff. Your problem with Kap NEVER had anything to do with his protests “at his job” (you’re not his employer anyway...what do you care?) or your perception (says you) that he was disrespecting the nation or any institution.

Your (and others like you) problem with Kap is that he ever stood up and complained no matter what he complained about. He could’ve been complaining about bad food...doesn’t matter. Folks like yourself believe that blacks should (barely) be seen (except on a field or gym) and never be heard. In your mind, we don’t have a right to complain or protest any conditions whatsoever. You especially resent Kap taking on the police because like the typical conservative, you’re an authoritarian that “kisses up and kicks down.” You believe that the cops have no right to be challenged at all, but especially not by black folks. You can’t abide that.

You’re also angry because like a typical conservative, if a black person has any money, they should smile, kowtow, head scratch, buckdance and shine for the white folks as an example to other blacks of what a “good boy” can be if he just keeps his mouth shut and not speak any truth to the powerful. That scares you when they don’t follow the script because you think it’ll become infectious and influence other black folks. God forbid.

BTW...you’re still watching football religiously. If you weren’t, then this victory against the NFL wouldn’t needle you so much. You can protest to the contrary, but I know better. Like the other poster, you’re also trying too hard. It’s not convincing though.

Get outta here. You’d sell out for pennies on the dollar of what Kap got.

Stop. LMAO
