When Manafort lied, he really rolled the dice that Trump was going to pardon him. Trump has been distancing himself from Manafort so I am not sure he will, at least not before the 2020 election. After that he won't care how things appear.
Yep. They are investigating something that didn't happen and that wouldn't even be a crime (collusion with Russia) and a person who is not even suspected of a crime (Trump) to see if they can get lucky and find something.
Trump didn't commit Manafort's crimes, and those crimes have nothing to do with "collusion" with Russia.
And, by the way, Manafort's convictions will be reversed on appeal because they are outside the scope of Mueller's authority.
What I find interesting about this case when I talk to others about it, is that they seem to think it is related to Trump and Russia.
Once Mueller's report is released, Manafort's role in the Trump-Russia conspiracy will become clear. It's possible Manafort will be dragged into court again to face more charges and the new charges will be directly related to Trump-Russia. Mueller has been surgically working his way from the outside in and from the bottom up, and he has been very careful not to show his collusion cards.
The court filings today that revealed that Mueller has evidence that Roger Stone was in contact with WikiLeaks means that the Trump campaign was most likely in active contact with WikiLeaks, and Mueller of course was a part of the campaign.
{shrug} we've been hearing this same "we got him now" boasting for the past two years, yet here we are, and Donald Trump is still President and Hillary still isn't.

Well all, some, or none of that may be true. Time will tell. I was merely pointing out that the topic of this thread is misunderstood by many.

Oh yeah, the classic "if he hasn't been caught now, he never will" line you trumpsters love to repeat. As if that's some sort of testament to his innocence. Nevermind all of the dominoes currently falling (read: Manafort, Stone, et al). Surely, none of that leads to Trump. No, of course not, how could it?
Are you living in some kind of alternate reality where Trump is Manafort/Stone?
Trump has nothing to do with them, and that is why Trump isn't being arrested.

Manafort will probably be out some time between November 3, 2020 and January 20, 2021.
Not hardly. There are still state crimes.
