Sure, release them Trump. Give them a plane ticket to the destination of their choice.
After all, the "war's" over. Time to pack up and go home. That might as well apply to ISIS.
They chose to illegal travel out there and to fifgt for radical Islam, as far as I am concerned they made their chose and we don't have to allow people who pose a danger to us back in to our countries.
The US captured these individuals, and as such they can decide what they do with them, however to expect other countries to take radical muslim fighters is just not acceptable.
In the past we have allowed people in to our countries, given them welfare, education, housing etc only for them later to lanch terrorist attacks against us, and I am sorry but I have no sympathy for people who went to fight for ISIS and other radical islamic groups. If they want to continue theor campaign then I would prefer they stay where they are.

I'm not sure if you knew my post was sarcastic? My bad for not marking it. The reference to the suitcase was meant to be sort of supercilious. Trump declared the war over. Time for all to pack their suitcases and go home.
What the UK does with its ISIS nationals is an open question. That Trump framed a demand for return with the tweeted threat to release them I found outrageous.
If I appeared supportive - I have to say that your response to me was amazingly polite and restrained !!!

I did notice a hint of saracsm, however I am deadly serious about not wanting any of this lot.
I am also sure most Americans wouldn't want them either.
The best thing to do with them is to just leave them where they are, as they helped create the mess they are not trying to escape.
If he kills them, we’ll be held responsible, and our reputation is such that we can’t bear that responsibility. We have enough trouble as it is.
Assad may well kill ISIS fighters or put them to work. Someone with Assad's record doesn't appear to do moderation well. With ISIS, in particular - the temptation may be to either extreme.
Nothing wrong with that.
It should give them pause before they decide they want to destroy us.
In for a penny in for a pound. Lets pound them !!! Like nails into the ground.
If the bombs, tanks, planes, and guns were not a deterrent then I doubt anything would be. Seems death was already accounted for and deemed not a deterrent for these guys.
But when we do that -- do we just send them back to join ISIS and continue their terrorist activities?
And does that impede our safety/security at all?
The ones that survive the 30,000' trip without a parachute will be free to continue their lives.
Personally, I think that would be a good waste of human tissue, however. Better that they should become organ donors. Let them purchase their freedom for the low, low cost of two lungs, two kidneys, and one liver each.
Five viable organs from each ISIS member in exchange for a pardon and their freedom. Now that's a winning deal all the way around.
