Yes, it absolutely is OK to trash law enforcement when you don't agree with them. Just as it is OK to trash ANY government official, policy, political affiliation, etc. It is unconstitutional to attempt, in any manner via law, to prevent this which is known as "free speech".

Drug laws come to mind first, police today have NO business enforcing these laws, as they were created as a tool of racism, to control certain minorities, once we found out why those laws were written and enacted, they should have been redacted immediately, the fact that LE fights SO aggressively to keep these laws in place, just makes it that much more clear what their intentions truly are.

Drug laws should have went the way of drinking fountain laws, lunch counter laws, bus seat laws, etc. Its a real shame laws like this are still on the books and enforced so aggressively.
Bad laws are the fault of lawmakers, not law enforcement. Corrupt LE deserves derision.

But, if like many, those Police are stealing money and drugs from the "till", then they deserve critique.

LE is only the last gear or cog in a LONG chain.

I think most people in LE are very decent. But it's MUCH more than a percent or two who aren't...or who are corruptible. Taken against millions in the trade, that ends up being a lot of people so we can't help but notice it.
I know a few local cops, talking to them about this heroin problem and drug problem in general, they truly believe in the work they are doing, when they go on runs where drugs are involved, many take it personally, they believe they are really doing good for the community thru their enforcement, they love to catch dealers and arrest them.

But its like Ive mentioned in other threads, its almost like they didnt get the memo on drug laws, they were never intended to be used against whites or upper class, they were created to control minorities, Im not sure how it morphed into what it has become today

That's just something you made up because the progressive policies you follow are failures.

Because he doesn't like the policy. Which is something you wont discuss because it would expose your beliefs to be horrible failures.

Which has nothing to do with your made up scenario.

Just another example of the childlike qualities of too many lefties. Make things up to deflect from their failures.

Exactly.

We have laws in place that the police are supposed to follow. The laws were put there for a reason, recently because of screwups from other cops. Only when they dont actually follow that law should they be critiqued. If the law is wrong or unconstitutional, its up to us to work to change it through representatives and legislation.

Not following the law includes things like:
  • Beating a suspect that is handcuffed
  • Shooting a fleeing suspect in the back when no one is in immediate danger
  • Using a taser on a mans genitals, while on camera. (What an absolute moron!)

I would say if the POTUS disagreed with his LE, he shouldnt show bias against them when speaking in public.
They should show solidarity to make it appear that they are at least trying to work together.
But then again, even though trump is a moron that couldnt speak like a president if he tried, a REAL president could eloquently disagree with his LE on TV and we might accept it. He could also disagree behind the scenes and try to hide it and we wouldnt know, so I guess it doesnt really matter in the grand scheme.

In the case of tRump vs FBI, he really is a criminal, so who wouldnt side with the FBI?

Agree on the fault of the lawmakers, although the public can have a big say on what affect them.

Corrupt LE kinda deserves more than mockery, they deserve jailtime, wouldnt you think?

You are clearly too low on reading comprehension to discuss, but thanks for showing your lack of ability to understand basic communication.

You really can't have it both ways without being total hypocrites.

It's NOT ok for tRump to say these things. They are both nauseating hypocrites....

I don't for I recognize his freedom of speech.

As far as what the President may or may not have done, well, given the media, who knows what to believe and then, I was not there.

As I said in another thread, it is not just this or that.
