Yes, I'm sure that baby with a basically functionless, underdeveloped brain, whose year-long life was pockmarked by life threatening infections and illnesses was actually living in a happy sunshine world somewhere in there.
There are women who were grateful for the time they had, and others who wish their child had never been born into suffering and agony. It's not really anyone else's business how they feel about it.
How many abortions are due to birth defects? Probably a very small number but the main debate isn't around that issue, is it?

IMO, Abortion done due to diagnosed Pre-natal birth defects or abortion done because the child birth poses life threatening situation to the mother IS AN ALTOGETHER DIFFERENT STORY then the main debate.
The thing is, New York law now allows a perfectly healthy baby to be killed at birth based on the mother's whim. No need for this sick baby charade. The Marxist left wants full-on infanticide. Very, very few women who make it that far in pregnancy even want an abortion, and they rarely happen late-term, unless there is such a medical exception at issue.
