I think the word she used to describe leftist media .... was horses--t. Spot on.
Leftist media outlets immediately jumped on Trump and people who support him when Smollett went public with his hate-fantasy. No hesitation. No let's see what the facts are. Nope. Just immediate and total condemnation of innocent people. That's who the left are. Lords of the Marxist Flies.
The biggest problem I see in today's journalism are the reporters don't necessary report the news as much as they try to promote themselves...Jim Acosta comes to mind in a major way.
I saw the interview. She has some of the most insightful perspectives of the US, South Africa and other countries.
She'd be okay with being outspoken if she were ripping President Trump a new one. Her career would flourish. She has too much integrity to work in mainstream journalism.
"We take the vetting of sources and stories very seriously at '60 Minutes,' and we took it seriously in this case. But we were misled and we were wrong, and that's the important thing," Logan said, explaining the thorough process they'd use to corroborate Davies' tale. "We have to set the record straight and take responsibility."
I think we the consumers blurred the lines with our appetite for sensationalism.
Truth and sensationalism is not the same thing...I for one always wait for the fact to come out before making a judgement...not so much the left and the MSM.
I'm curious, do you find Harris Faulkner, Melissa Francis, Sandra Smith, etc. as "journalistic abortions"? Or are you talking about the Hannity's & Carlson's of the network?
I could totally see Lara Logan on Harris Faulkner's show "Outnumbered".
Melissa Francis and Maria Bartiromo both used to be on CNBC. I wonder if that poster thought both were just fine when they were on CNBC, and now thinks they are both 'journalistic abortions' now that they are on Fox, and if Erin Burnett gets a pass because she went from CNBC to CNN, and/or because she (on air) called President Bush the 'monkey in the middle'.

I'm thinking she had an awakening when she found out the lies the left continuously spewed about "Muslims being peaceful people" she swallowed hook, line, and sinker really bit her in the butt. She was gang-raped and nearly killed by those "peaceful Muslims."
