Well...if he believes Trump is a or very well may be Russian asset arent those the sort of sentiments you would expect him to express?

I didn't vote in this poll because, frankly, I have no idea if he is an "asset". I do feel that he treats Putin especially nice and friendly for some reasons unknown to us, either Putin has dirt on him, or he wants to keep his financial doors open with the Russians.

It is also no secret that the Russians wanted Trump in there, instead of Hillary, because they felt Trump would be more inclined to go easy on them, than Hillary, who would have probably set some serious restrictions on Russia by now.

I could make up BS about Obama, like when Obama stated something like "wait until after the election" to Putin, what the hell was that all about? Or the famous "reset" with Hillary. Or when Bush "saw his soul" when speaking of Putin. Or FDR providing aid to Stalin. I can go on and on demonstrating that every single president has done something positive for Russia or the Soviets at some point in time.
FDR provided aid to the Soviets during an existential emergency for both us and the Soviets...who were overwhelmingly responsible for the defeat of Nazi Germany...our involvement in the European theater during World War 2 was largely a side show devised to relieve pressure on the Soviets...who lost over 20 million dead, destroyed vast German armues, and took Berlin.
And as far as Obama's statement goes...there is a vast difference between telling the Russians some action or another may be more possible politically after a certain election...world leaders probably make statements like that all the time...as does virtually everyone with an interest in such matters. That is political realism...notvtreason or anything close to it. Colluding with a foreign power to influence that election, lying about contacts with that power etc...that us a different story.

How is Putin playing Trump? Spycraft is subtle. They find someone who is easily manipulated.

Trump has always ignored advice, is a bit of an iconoclast, has fancied himself as a "genius", but is not too smart. They convince the dupe that everything is his idea, that he is being a genius when he drops sanctions against Russia, that it is a genius move to pull out of Syria, that NATO is a bad organization and should be weakened, and he believes these things, all of which benefit Russia, and does them. He is the President so he doesn't have to ask anyone but he has been manipulated into doing them. It is the only thing that makes sense since all of these things hurt the US and help Russia.

When would the manipulations have happened? Probably in Helsinki when he met privately with Putin and refused to tell anyone, even his own advisers, what was discussed. Putin do doubt patted Trump on the back and said, "this is our little secret".

No and even if he was I don't care. The Muslims should be our enemies, not the Russians.

Trump just doesn't know it because he won't listen to his own security experts.
My take, too.

Where does Russia get its money from? What drives its economy? Oil and natural gas sales.

What is Trump's Energy Policy? What has it done to energy prices worldwide? Yet CNN doesn't tell you about that so you don't know, do you?

If Trump is a "Russian asset", good they need the help but one thing is certain, he is a huge American asset and we have the envy of the world economy and lowest unemployment in 50 years with our Presidential asset.
