For some yes. ...others just asked questions -- didn't make judgement calls....didn't accuse, name call.

Come on -- the 'liar liar pants on fire'....seriously -- who voted for that idiot.

I'm not objecting to his opinion that Cohen may not be credible but who says stuff like that in a historic hearing.

That's the best that guy could come up with.

And you all wonder why we are in a mess. What kind of idiot votes for that idiot?

I think the next round of interviews are going to be sans gloves
Weisselberg, Don Jr, some other Trump employees including Trump’s secretary
They are going to make them come down to DC (maybe they will even get to stay at the Post Office Hotel at an employee discount) and face more direct and specific questioning from the Dems on the Committees they face
You can write off the GOP members since apparently they won’t be running for office in 2020–
They certainly seem not to care about what their constituents might think their lack of interest in what are obvious crimes Trump has committed...

They can ignore them until Trump is out of office I guess but maybe they just plan on Trump ALWAYS being in office—
Maybe that’s why they didn’t ask any pertinent questions about illegal acts Trump has committed or seems likely to do in future...
Felix Sater is on deck next, followed by Weisselberg, from what I understand. Both have been cooperating witnesses for a while, and Weisselberg's name is on the Stormy Daniels check with Don Jr. He will be a corroborating witness. That is two of the players, who will both have testified to the same thing. It will be interesting when Junior gets his turn in the Oversight barrel.

Also, remember - all of these are just the domestic crimes being investigated by Congress. Mueller still has the federal side to add.

I think you have misjudged Cohen's role. He handled the prostitutes, whores, porn stars, bullies...not the really high profile stuff. Cohen is/was a slime ball lawyer hired to do slime ball stuff...he wasn't hired to handled relationships with international influences.

BUT -- he may have been in the room to hear the other stuff

you say: "Most importantly he had the opportunity to slam Trump on a variety of topics but he didn't".....because he couldn't or he would get more perjury charges and get more years. He can't say anything different than what he told Mueller and the SDNY or what they already know....if he did, he is toast.........try again...LOL
Who cares who he prepped with unless there is some rule against that.

Are you saying he was limited to answering only topics discussed with Mueller and SDNY? That does not make sense. He was asked some questions that were outside the mainstream and he answered them. Are you saying he wasn't allowed to answer them? The only time he refused to answer was in relation to the ongoing SDNY investigations.

Congressman Eric Swalwell moments ago on Cohen's testimony today: "We heard quite a bit of new information today that Mr. Cohen discuss yesterday in public."

And we learned toady that Felix Slater, the Russina-American friend of Trump's who had an office on the 26th floor near Trump's main office, will be testifying before the House next month.

NONE of this would be happening if the republicans still held the House. Way to get out there and vote in November, dems. Elections have consequences.

We are only 58 days into Trump's presidency with a divided congress that will hold him accountable, and it's been pretty rough for him so far.

If they can get Felix Sader to tell the truth that will be newsworthy...
If they can get ANY of Trump’s peeps to tell the truth that will be empire-breaking...

But I think SOME of the GOP (not Louie Gomert types of course) are going to be forced to grow a spine before 2020...

Just guessing but I would bet it was Texas representative Louie Gomert from Tyler Tx area—
The piney woods of eastern TX
His base probably said go-get-‘em Louie...

The point was to imply the “Deep State” conspiracy that Trump always alludes to when he plays the victim card...

No sane man who is going to prison for lying to Congress is going to appear BEFORE Congress and NOT be prepped as to what is allowed and what is not...

The more stupid move would be to listen to Jay Sekulow and lie about information to protect Trump—
Which is what Cohen did the FIRST time he testified before Congress

How does that make the CURRENT attorney for the president look???
Pretty shady....pretty shady....

If there was collusion, the FBI would have known about it before the election since they were listening in on everyone involved with the campaign, unbeknownst to any of them. So far the only thing they’ve been able to make seem inappropriate was the meeting Don Jr had with the Russian lawyer, which sounds bad until you learn that the Russian lawyer met with Fusion GPS both before and after that twenty minute meeting with Jr. If that’s not fishy, I don’t know what is.

How can anyone believe their crap? Well, we are talking about the same people that think hormone therapy can turn men into women and world record smashing female athletes, or that we can do away with carbon fuels and nuclear energy in ten years and improve our quality of life instead of utterly destroying it. But still, they should be able to figure this one out.
