If Cohen is the best witness the Dems have, that's all the evidence you need to know that this is a total farce; when their STAR WITNESS was previously convicted of lying to Congress and then is called back to testify again, does that not make it very clear that the Democrats have nothing and are giving an entirely new meaning to 'scraping the bottom of the barrel?'
Our elections are tamper-proof as President Obama stated in October of 2016 right in front of Italy's Prime Minister in the Rose Garden so if CNN, MSNBC, the NYT and the Washington Post want to cement Obama's legacy as the worst President ever by continuing to push this collusion nonsense, why prevent them from hanging themselves and annihilating Obama's already abysmal 'reputation' in the process?
Trying to keep track here -- 6 republican committee members have now yielded time to Jim Jordan, so he can keep railing against Cohen's credibility.
Why is Jim Jordan not using any of all this time he's been given to ask about any of the alleged crimes that Michael Cohen presented today, with evidence?
Anyone not blind to reality knew Trump was involved with the Russian associated efforts to influence the election. Cohen has now basically confirmed that Trump was aware of the coordination in his behalf with Wikileaks which got data from the Russians. Being aware of it and not stopping it is COLLUSION.
I doubt a single Trump supporter would acknowledge that LOL.
Cohen is already going to do 3 years for lying to Congress. Lying today would only add on more time.
By watching this testimony I realize he is much less loyal to Trump than the R's questioning him. Questions from Gosar, Mattie's questions are plain schoolboy stuff. Jordan can make a career in acting.
If the facts in this article are indeed facts, Cohen's public testimony is going to be history in the making, and more than worth the investment of time to watch. Sounds like he's going to play picador to Trump's bull.
I'm watching the hearings right now and have only one question. Why are committee members (asking the questions) so angry and confrontational? I'm no fan of Cohen but really? Why all the anger in the tone of questioning? Sheesh.
Grandstanding and political theater. If I were Cohen I'd stand up and applaud when one of them acted out and say "bravo...but the Academy Awards were last Sunday, sir".
BTW....he's there of his own accord....he's being too nice to them. He should go back at them more like Whitaker did and cause some fireworks to make them look like idiots (more than they look now, I mean).
