it stops the clock and could put Trump in jail as soon as he is out of office... Trump could make a deal to get the indictment tossed for stepping down...
As the evidence piles up it becomes more likely.. One question is would Trump make a deal to save his kids, just for himself or at all?

Matt Gaetz Under Investigation By Florida State Bar Over Michael Cohen Threat
The Florida Bar has opened an investigation into whether Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) violated professional conduct rules by threatening former Trump fixer Michael Cohen ahead of Cohen’s congressional testimony on Wednesday.
The organization, which licenses lawyers to practice in the state, would not disclose details of the investigation, but spokesperson Francine Walker, said the bar is “quite aware of [Gaetz’s] comments...and we have opened an investigation.”
I have believed Trump to be a pathetic and despicable individual since I listened to him as a guest on Howard Stern years ago. Even then, I was taken aback when Cohen told us that Trump had an affair with a porn star, paid her hush money, and then, this takes the cake, Trump had his lawyer call his (Trump's) wife from a car and lie to her about it. No crime there of course, but what a worthless piece of garbage he is!
I’m actually shocked at how poorly prepared most of the Representatives are for this hearing. They stutter and sputter through their questions. It’s really distressing for me watch. I expected better of them. This does not make me feel very confident in the quality of our elected officials.

GOP: Why won't you admit that you lied?!
Cohen: I did lie.
GOP: We are going to prove that you lied.

I agree. You always hear rumors about candidates and get used to brushing it off but this is pretty creepy and getting real.
