Closing in on him...

Intimidation, Pressure and Humiliation: Inside Trump’s Two-Year War on the Investigations Encircling Him
By Mark Mazzetti, Maggie Haberman, Nicholas Fandos and Michael S. Schmidt

Trying to install a perceived loyalist atop a widening inquiry is a familiar tactic for Mr. Trump, who has been struggling to beat back the investigations that have consumed his presidency... Mr. Trump’s public war on the inquiry has gone on long enough that it is no longer shocking. Mr. Trump rages almost daily to his 58 million Twitter followers...

An examination by The New York Times reveals the extent of an even more sustained, more secretive assault by Mr. Trump on the machinery of federal law enforcement.

I would say Trump's war against America has been rather successful for him. He has managed to convince a good portion of his followers that our federal security forces are corrupt traitors.
Trump has fooled his followers into believing any source that does not support him is fake, and every source that does support him is true.

It is quite the achievement and frankly it is one of Trump few skills. Trump is good at entertaining angry white men and helps provide meaning in their otherwise bland lives. He combines that entertaining with propaganda and massive in your face lying, lying and lying more. That level of lying really works on weak critical thinkers, they find it very hard to resist. In fact Lying works so well political lying is the only legal lying in advertising.....

If Ford lied about its products even 1% as much / bad as trump they would be bankrupted. The ensuing fines and lawsuits would wipe them out....

So i would say Trump war against America against its people against our has been a huge success for him.

Federal law enforcement agencies have been corrupt LONG before Trump came along and entered into politics though....while its definitely worse today than in the past, I dont see how Trump could have played a part in it.

And what is scary is this describes 40% of Americans. That's 4 in 10. In the rural South and Midwest it's probably more like 60-70% (the big cities are probably more like 20-30%).

Yep. Even after Trump's gone, these gullible fools will still be with us, and maybe next time they'll back a competent criminal.

OP, according to what you've been saying for the past 3 years, why isn't Trump in prison? Every day you are here with 4-5 more threads about how they just about got him. What gives? The contributors to your echo chamber can't hold out much longer...

If it wasn't for Republicans in Congress, Trump would already be history.

They are in a tough spot. If Republicans took their oversight responsibilities seriously, Trump and his followers would accuse them of being part of the "deep state" on a "witch hunt" and they would be hard pressed to win another election.

As it is, Republicans have to rely on gerrymandering, election fraud, purging voter roles, suppressing the vote, ... to win.

Imagine how difficult it would be if Trump's base refused to vote for any Republicans.

Ohhhhhhh geeeeeeez!!! Please stop!!! In the name of all things Holy!!!

If Trump is this Russian puppet, as claimed by many Democrats, why are we putting sanctions on Russia and telling the Europeans to scale back on Russian oil? Please give me ONE bit of proof that Trump violated U.S. Laws by doing business with the Russians BEFORE becoming the President. Btw, this is a fact. Doing business with Russia or even Putin isn't a crime if it was done before running for the presidency and fully disclosed.... Again, if he didn't disclose his business dealings, why haven't the Democrats presented any real and hard facts to go after him? If he is guilty as claimed by the DNC, why is he still the President of the United States???

If he is in fact, a Russian operative as claimed by the Democrats. Please provide us with ONE solid fact, that is a fact and backed up with facts... Not a hunch, a gut feeling or simply an emotional hatred for him.

If Trump is Putin's puppet, why are we sending combat troops to Eastern Europe, which p!zzed off the Russians big time? Why have we sent heavy weapons to the Ukrainians... Who are using those "American" heavy weapons against Russian Army tanks and soldiers... Who have illegally invading that country? Why is Trump pushing the Chinese in our trade deals like they have never been pushed before and testing all their illegal claims in the South China Sea, which has only pushed the Chinese and Russian closer than they have been in close to 60 years? Why is he trying to make peace with North Korea, which is against both Chinese and Russian interests?

Why??

Also, why are the Russian now developing a new generation of nuclear missiles AFTER Trump called them out when they were cheating on our nuclear weapons reduction treaty?

One more "why." Why did Trump authorized the U.S. Military air strikes and artillery cannon fire to slaughter close to 200 Russian mercenaries in Syria when they launched an attack on a U.S. Back Syrian/Kurdish militia and our embedded American Special Forces troops back in late 2017?

Sorry, but this doesn't sound like a Russian puppet to me... If Trump is really a Russian puppet, he pulled a fast one on them since they're getting the short end of this deal!!

If we're truly interested in Americans and their dealings with Russia, let's look at all key political figures to include Hillary C. and her business... I mean "Pay to play" schemes with Putin and his close friends. ALSO!! Let's not forget about Comrade Bernie S. Him and his wife spent their honeymoon in Soviet Russia during the Cold War... I would love to know what he talked about with his Soviet KGB handlers and see the records they kept on him!! What about Obama's statement to Putin's fluky? "Tell Putin that I'll have more flexibility after the (2012) elections."

If Obama was a stand up guy against Russian aggression, why did he want his message of being more "flexible" to reach Putin? What side deals was Obama making with Putin and the Russians?? And why was Obama only sending stuff like food and blankets to the Ukranians when they begged for weapons? Please list one time when Obama was actually tough on the Russians.

If we're looking at one, then let's look at everybody who is serving OR has served in a high political office to ensure that they are/where putting the United States first and not their business friends or their own pocket books. If there is any solid proof that Trump is a puppet of the Russians, then remove him from office and put him on trial. But, let's be fair and investigate any and every senior politician who had any possible business or personal dealings with Russia and/or agents acting on behalf of Putin's Russia.
