if anyone bothered to look up the modern history of divisive politics they would find the name "newt gingrich" newt rose to power with the help of the religious right...who was founded in the 1970's by religious leaders who did not like school integration....(read black people) thats why the left claims the right is racist and divisive as in their way or the highway

almost foretelling the future rightwing leader Barry goldwater said that one cannot reason with the religious right..they claim instruction from god...and that sir has led to 50+ votes on obamacare and all the abuse that poor man endured

Bernie is on the outs.

Let him ramble his nonsense all he likes because he has been declared too male, too white and too old for the Democrat nomination. Don't take my word for it, ask the powers that be in DNC identity politics land, since they are the ones saying he needs to go away, having served his usefulness in 2016.

All he is now is a cranky old guy telling Republicans to get of his lawn.

How can Bernie say Trump is the first President to do this, when Obama spent 8 years dividing the country?!!

I see a lot of deflection from Cohen's testimony here. It won't work.

All Bernie is doing (like Warren etc.) is trying to grasp for minority votes, something that Bernie did poorly with in 2016 after being successfully and divisively labeled as racist by Hillary's campaign.

So, you'll see Bernie doing\saying\attending everything he can to show he's down with minorities fo shizzle and all that.

After the primary then the narratives will change and they can go back to forgetting about them.

bernie slanders, pocahontas, and the rest of the demonrats have been playing the divisive card since the late 50s when LBJ forced changes to the civil rights legislation that eisenhower ultimately signed, that took the teeth out of said legislation, only so that LBJ could make himself look good in the mid 60s and pushed the very legislation that he got watered down in the 50s passed and signed into law.

they cant help themselves, they have been playing identity politics for so ling now, and they are being called on it so much now, that they are still playing identity politics, but they are trying to make it seem like the republicans are doing it.

me thinks they doth protest too much.

Well, technically he's a communist. He just won't run as one. Given the direction of the Democratic party in recent years, he doesn't have to.

What's scary is that with the crop of Dems that are running for 2020-Bernie looks almost sane in comparison.
