It sure as heck isn't. Are you ignorant of the FACT that last summer that Trump predicted that GDP growth could soon be in the 5s?

Is that what Trump predicts? If so, that sounds mighty low for him.

Good year for the US!
That's as good as it'll ever get.

We don't have a lot of data on advanced 4th Level Economies, but the data so far, over the last 20 years, indicates 5%-8% growth is out of the question, and 3% is normal.

Not sure what your trying to say. It was a great year for growth, business is doing very well. Growth averaged 3.1% over 2018, 2.9% annual accounting for inflation. Not sure how that can be spun negatively, it took Trump 2 years to match Obama’s best year, in the 10th year of an economic recovery with the fed raising rates and reducing the balance sheet. Obama’s last year? 1.6%

4th Q cooled so the growth was 2.9 for the year.

GDP varies quarter to quarter and year to year

US Real GDP Growth Rate by Year

California continues to be the most significant contributor to the growth.
