But at an event last night, Omar went much farther, reports Laura Kelly. After an audience member shouted out, “It’s all about the Benjamins,” at which, according to Kelly’s reporting, she smiled. (Jeremy Slevin, Omar’s press secretary and strategist, denies she acknowledged that line from the audience.) Later she stated, “I want to talk about the political influence in this country that says it is okay to push for allegiance to a foreign country.”
This is much worse. Accusing Jews of “allegiance to a foreign country” is a historically classic way of delegitimizing their participation in the political system. Whether or not the foreign policy agenda endorsed by American supporters of Israel is wise or humane, it is a legitimate expression of their political rights as American citizens. To believe in a strong American alliance with Israel (or Canada, or the United Kingdom, or any other country) is not the same thing as giving one’s allegiance to that country. Omar is directly invoking the hoary myth of dual loyalty, in which the Americanness of Jews is inherently suspect, and their political participation must be contingent upon proving their patriotism.
She is calling Jews who support Israel....traitors.
In doing so, she is demonizing Jews in general, because - as you point out - all Jews are now suspect until and unless they declare their opposition to Israel. This is yet another example of the link between anti-Semitism and anti-Israelism. (Is that a word?) In her case, I believe her comments emanate from anti-Semitism, but let's give her the benefit of the doubt and say they do not. Without a doubt, however, her harsh condemnation of Jews who support Israel (along with the comments that they have the money to control things) IS furthering anti-Semitism among Americans.
We are at the highest point of anti-Semitism since WWII. Omar is jumping in the bandwagon and advancing it. Would Democrats be so accepting of a white man making such horrible comments about black people? I think not.

Her loyalty is with Muslims first, and she knows that now she's in congress, with a base that will support her continuous re-election, congress is stuck with her. Much like that union dirtbag employee we all know that comes in with all the arrogance and impunity that a ruleset like that provides.
She is an anti-semitic, Hamas and Hezbollah sympathizer, who pleaded for leniency for Americans who tried to join ISIS, who is accused of being married to her brother in order to secure entrance and residence into America, hails from 1 (Somalia) of like 3 or 4 countries out of 200, with -civilians- that dragged burned, cut-up, American corpses through their streets and, represents a constituency that complicitly, if not directly, agrees with all of these things.

She is canny and sinister. She has a well laid plan and everything she says and does is part of it. She has imported the anti-Semitism, terror-loving, and radicalism of the Middle East into the US Congress. She frequently is the featured speaker at benefits for Islamist organizations tied to terrorism.
