I'm sure he was intimately acquainted with Mr. Epstein's operations. I would also bet that Barr knew this was coming down and tipped Chump off early this week. That would be the reason he woke up attacking the prosecutors in New York a couple of times this week. The fact that SDNY is handling it means that someone in the government is involved in the case. We'll know when the indictment is unsealed on Monday just who it is. Smart money would be on Acosta or Trump, or both.

Don't politicize this as it has nothing to do with being a Democrat or Republican -- this is all about the corrupting influence of money. Alex Acosta, the current US Labor Secretary, was appointed US Attorney by G.W Bush and allowed a rapist to get away with murder. Trump needs to force him out of his cabinet and he should be personally liable for not seeking justice for the victims.

Additional pain in the ass is this tendency some people have to use Epstein case against the specific politician they hate (be it Trump or Clinton).
This scumbag was "sentenced" to spend 13 (thirteen!) months in a hotel masquerading as prison. All that for crimes an average Joe with the same proclivities would be serving decades while being a favorite ***** of general population, which would make him expire before his sentence.
It's more than obvious that he had a huge protection of influential circle. Or circles. Huge protection for this type of crimes only means that others are involved. To see them all rotting in real prison would be the day. I'm not holding my breath, though.
