So she only added on another three years? For hiding $55 Million and bankfraud?? WTH? Mueller receommended 17-22 years.

This is a slap on the wrist. It's ridiculous.
It seems like both judges slap Mueller harder than Manafort... 1/3 to 1/4 the amount of time prosecutors asked for... Ouch...a year for time serve and he will be out in four years... 55 million should of been a life sentence... How do you like a two tier justice system now?

I'd rather do 7.5 in Club Fed than 3 in State!
So you think he should go to hell? Really?

Ok, this from WaPo

She said that 30 months of her sentence must run concurrently to his Virginia term because the underlying conduct is the same.
So, if I'm doing the math correctly:

47 months - Ellis
43 months - Berman
90 months total
30 months concurrent
60 months net

So that means FIVE YEARS - not 7.5 years. Essentially she tacked on ONE ADDITIONAL YEAR.

WTH?? Some kid steals $100 from a laundromat gets six years and a guy that hides $55 million, lies to get loans, witness tampers and sells info to the Russians gets five years?!!!

Geezus... only in America

You must not be familiar with Manafort, and what even his own daughters have to say about him.

Default Breaking News: Manafort indicted on New York state charges

looks like today's sentencing hearing was not remotely the end of the story.

Indictments unsealed in Manhattan for fraud charges under state law - so even if Trump pardons him on both of the federal sentences, he's still facing trial and jail in New York, which is beyond the scope of a presidential pardon.
