The right loves them and says they do. The left is a bunch of hypocrites. Granted the right votes in Trump who say he wont get involved in other nations civil wars and then gets involved right away. Both sides love to not hold themselves accountable.

Of course there are pro-America people in the sense of the culture, etc.
In Iran many people love American stuff.
But from the Philippines, to Kenya (pro-America more or less), to Bolivia/Argentina, people assume America is an imperial power that goes to war to maintain its power.
It is only America and western countries that assume benevolence.
It's not a think of hate either, it is just considered a fact. Americans have a hard time viewing the world in such a way since American exceptionalism is a core of our ideology.
