The difference between kaintuck and me is, among other things, that he believes the leaders will share the wealth. His belief in the benevolence of man is really touching and couldn’t be more incorrect if he tried.

“I'll take my cake with the guy who decides what size slice he will give me relative to my contribution, as opposed to the guy who decides what size slice he is going to take from me.”

I know people well enough to realize that the guy will not share anything willingly with anybody he is not forced by economics or government. To pay a good wage when a poor wage is possible then the poor wage will be offered. Simple economics. Why pay more than you have to and by supporting (bribing) a government to allow tariff free exploitation the man makes out. He will never pay more than absolutely necessary. And take as much time, energy and effort as he can demand.

I would do well in anarchy or socialism. As I am too old for anarchy, I prefer socialism. I also think socialism will provide more for more people than government supported crony capitalism. It will certainly provide more for my family and me. If my socialism it costs a few zillionaires some of their fortune, too bad. I am not a zillionaire will never be a zillionaire so I do not care what happens to them. I care about what happens to my family, my friends and myself all of who are not zillionaires.
