Rest assured she is not very intelligent, lets put it that way.
However, and maybe you have not seen the thread/video, but as to her heart being in the right place, do not assume it is her heart that is speaking.
Whether you agree or not, watch this video which makes the case of her being a vacuous puppet of a new radical communist group, intent on destroying the present day Democratic party;
I'm so sorry you are so fearful. Radical communist group? Puhleeze. Are these the same people who are fine with a country like Russia interfering with us and having such a hold on Trump? I don't hear that fear being expressed.
Be that as it may, do you want a hard left group to intentionally infiltrate (instead of starting their own party), and ultimately take control of the party you presumably are a member of?

Greed and neoliberalism are killing the middle class.
Dot 1: I am forced by the government to obey the laws of this country.
Dot 2: Corporations have control of those laws because they control our lawmakers through lots of under-the-table, corrupt, money.
I can't believe I have to connect the dots like this. Our lawmakers have not been representing the public for many years now, and I thought the majority of the masses knew that.
However, no matter what they say, the Republican party (and part of the Democrat party) will paint them out to be communists who want to destroy democracy.
Yes, of course, but Social Democracy, as practiced, say in Germany, is still very much within the capitalist side of things with most capital in private hands.
There are many varieties of socialism and I see capitalism and socialism less a dichotomy, than a spectrum. Full STATE socialism is an extremely evil, authoritarian form of economic planning and is very non-democratic. However, free for all capitalism without rules and a moderator(s) is also non-democratic.
We think we live in a democratic society in our republic because we have a vote, however, without any control or say over our economic lives, we really don't. The answer is of course, not giving the federal government more power, but more of a libertarian socialism https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Libertarian_socialism with local decision making and worker self-management.
The goal should be to maximize democratization of the society.

Are you referring to the forced mandate for health insurance? Because that is the ONLY instance of what you are talking about.

Remember who forced that on this nation.
Ha! How about The War On Drugs? That is just ONE of many ways mega-huge corporations force unjust, arguably insane legislation on us. Then we stand around at the water cooler, laughing and shaking our heads at how insanely stupid our politicians are, when it isn't stupidity at all. It is human greed that has become irresistible in the presence of very large personal gains.
See what I mean? We are WAY off topic now. I was trying to minimize that, and what does it get me? A jab from you saying I have no argument.
