Pelosi knows Trump will win by a landslide in 2020 if she impeaches him.
She has nothing to gain (the Senate won't impeach him), and everything to lose.
Pelosi is way smarter than that. No need to. The longer he stays in office, the more damage he does to the GOP. That said, he will probably resign when his children and Jared are indicted shortly.

If she had legit evidence plain as day...I think she could make the case and win over the American people and if not the Senate then the GOP would be trounced in 2020.
I said this back in January. As long as Pelosi is Speaker, Trump won't be impeached.
And privately, IMO, she knows the Russian meme is nothing but BS. If there was anything it would have come out long ago. It's only fodder for the stupid now and that doesn't concern her as long as they keep believing it.
It would actually be a good strategic move, NOT to impeach him.
He has shown himself to be so corrupt, and so imcompetent.
Any reasonable person with any critical thinking skills whatsoever, would find it hard or impossible to vote for
him again (Unless they are so Partisan and corrupt themselves that they just don't care).
And she would need enough Senators to pass it, and the GOP Senators have proven, they care more about retaining power and their GOP loyalities than they do to any loyalties to our Great Country or to the laws of our Land...or to the people of which they are suppose to serve.
But, A lot of it depends on what is found out. She may not have a choice.

Corrupt in and of itself isnt necessarily impeachable.
If he seriously was some sort of Russian agent how could she just let him continue on?
If she has a truly great case, bring it forward to the people.
