More useless drivel. Let's see what's in the final budget, huh? You want to reduce the deficit, but nobody wants to reduce any spending. We have a spending problem, not a revenue problem.

If the GOP was truly fiscally responsible. They would generate enough revenue to cover all the budget.

Spending is not a problem as long as you have enough revenue. Just ask all those GOP house members who voted to cut revenue with a tax cut and then turned around and spent so much money they have created the largest peace time deficit in a long time.

All the GOP tax plans (Federal, State Local) become a hole they cannot get out of.

We could absolutely afford to cut 10% of our foreign bases.
10% cut in the EPA, Dept of Energy, Federal employees, Merge the ATF, FBI, DEA, Secrete Service and cut out the redundancy. I can go on and on with things we can cut that would deliver far more than a 10% screwing of our senior citizens.
Absolutely agree. I can't understand why Trump wants to cut things that help people, while at the same time increasing our military budget. We're not at war currently. I know we have troops many places in the world (too many IMO) but our country is in no real danger of invasion. I'm all for a strong defense, but the military is legendary for its wastefulness.

If the pool is larger and it's cheaper than the nonsense we pay now, I'm all for it. It seems to work abroad and we have several models to look at. People are all personal responsibility until they get hit with medical bills and have to file for bankruptcy (costs spread to society). Then they are for the collective.

Meanwhile we blow our budget on the military and defense contracts.

Nope, how about we judge Trump by the budget he has released? Whether it gets enacted or not doesn't mean that he didn't break his so-called promise that he would never cut Medicare.

That's not a tRump thing.

For decades, the GOP has wanted to END Medicare AND Social Security.

They'll NEVER stop trying.

And we have to deal with these crooks because a portion of the population is too obtuse and dense to see that they are getting royally screwed by the jerkwads they vote for.

It's actually very straightforward.

tRump derives his support from the fact that he spews hatred and venom at the same Americans that his followers hate.

They love their cheerleader.

We absolutely have a revenue problem, exacerbated by this latest obscene tax giveaway to corporations and the one percent. And we have a president and his party who have increased the deficit by leaps and bounds with nary a peep of protest from his so-called "fiscally conservative" followers.

But hey, let's just screw over the seniors so we can spend more on our already obscenely bloated military budget. Priorities, people!

You can bet that for any seniors capable of seeing beyond the party line, this is, indeed, anything but "useless drivel."
