I'm just here to see if the righties who attacked Feinstein for her comments or who claimed it was only third rate countries that took them out of service even bother to acknowledge that Trump himself just announced these planes are grounded
If there's some technical reason to ground these planes, then they should be grounded. That until the risks are known. I'm actually surprised the Airlines haven't been pro-active about it.
Take the deranged politics out of it, people's lives are in danger. Stop listening to the politicians and start listening to the engineers.

Well Trump just said he is grounding them by executive order (apparently the FAA experts said no and he had to overrule them for political reasons). So I guess it is time for you to change your position.
So I guess now that Trump did this, is ok for the Trumpers? Lol
I don't know about the pro-Trump crowd, but as someone who has not liked much at all this president has done, I like this move. Figure out if there is an issue with these planes once and for all. The flyng public wins either way save for some flying scheduling issues. One of my friends is already running into this today.

That's what I came to this thread to find out! LOL
I'm not a Trump fan in the slightest, but good on him for doing the right thing in this case. Those planes should be grounded until the figure out "what the hell is going on."
well in another thread, Trump haters are all mad that "trump" grounded the planes.
so derangement abounds.
I would agree that derangement abounds on both sides of the aisle. Even a stopped clock is right twice per day; there's no harm in saying that an otherwise shady president made a good decision. Even if that decision was made for the wrong reasons (no idea why he made it), who cares? He might have saved lives. Just like Feinstein was trying to do. Yes, it will likely cost some shareholders money. I'm glad both politicians were able to see that lives are more important than profits.

It would cost the shareholders a lot more money if more planes crash and Boeing or the FAA eventually find a flaw with the plane's engineering or with its pilot training.
