I kept reading references to this, most recently that Merkel had been reading it.

It took me awhile, but I think I finally found it. I haven't had a chance to read it yet, but no reason you should wait for me. Looking forward to any astute observations from you all.

Donald Trump with Glenn Plaskin - March 1, 1990:

and all kinds of things about it:

Did Trump predict how he would act as president in a Playboy interview?
In the 1990 interview with Playboy, Trump was asked what he would do as president.

Is there some sort of CD thread quota you’re trying to reach?

Well, the projections may be a little off....

"His ego will require that history remember him not just as a billionaire and President, but as the man who “Made America Great Again"

Turns out he is #44 (dead last) of Presidents in history and unlikely to rise very far. So his ego will have to be content with "Small Barrier that Mexico didn't pay for" as his seminal accomplishment. Debt, deficit, GDP, Stock Market and most other indicators point to extremely slow growth as the result of his policies (or lack thereof).

Nixon, who is far up the rankings from Trump, is certainly an embarrassment to POTUS history. I remember when he wanted to move into a NYC apartment and the board, which has to approve residents, denied him.

He also had to try and steal his government effects to create an alternative "Nixon History Archives", but Gerald Ford asked the Justice Dept. if he was allowed to do that and they determined the stuff belongs to US.

I don’t have the time to get into the full interview, tonight.

Could not help but notice Trump named his yacht, the “Khashoggi boat” after the flamboyant Saudi arms dealer who sold it to him.

Nearly 30 years later, Saudi MBS ( the bone chopper) eliminated Jamal Khashoggi, the nephew of the arms dealer.

Subsequent to the interview the bankruptcy court took possession of the yacht and sold it to a prominate member of Saudi’s royal kingdom, no diff than the disposition of the Plaza Hotel.

As Trump has said, the Saudis have bought a lot of stuff from him, over the years.Makes sense Trump is more inclined to accept MBS’ stories than the intelligence of the CIA.
