“The influx of foreign workers holds down salaries, keeps unemployment high, and makes it difficult for poor and working class Americans
--- Donald Trump, August 15 2015
"I will end forever the use of the H-1B as a cheap labor program, and institute an absolute requirement to hire American workers for every visa and immigration program. No exceptions.”
Trump Abandons ‘America First’ Reforms: ‘We Need’ More Immigration to Grow Business Profits
Ahead of the 2020 presidential election, President Trump is abandoning his prior “America First” legal immigration reforms to support increases of legal immigration levels in order to expand profits for businesses and corporations.
For the fourth time in about a month, Trump suggested increasing legal immigration levels. With Apple CEO Tim Cook sitting next to him at the White House on Wednesday, Trump said he not only wanted more legal immigration but that companies needed an expansion of new arrivals to grow their business.
“We’re going to have a lot of people coming into the country. We want a lot of people coming in. And we need it,” Trump said:
Doesn't matter if he went back on his word, he doesn't take any crap form the left and that's all that matters.
Yep, they all appear to want Illegal Immigrants. In 10 years we will have an Illegal population that equals the Native population
You may want to be hoping that in 10 years there are workers to (pay taxes) work ... btw: immigrant population has always, since day one of census collection, have exceeded, native born population. Unless a person goes and looks it up, they won't know this, as it is like the best kept secret in town. Does nothing to further political agendas, which btw, political agendas do nothing to help keep food on a person's table either. Just a thought ...
Yes, it's capitalism that's gone too far. Capitalism that's controlled by the very wealthy who can pay the politicians (both sides.) Not much of that equal opportunity that we used to hear about, not anymore. These super rich will own everything and the ordinary people will just be worker bees.
AND when that happens, rich vs poor, there is hatred and division and then rebellion. Not a good thing for America when the middle class becomes more poor and then attacks the 1%. Somebody's got to help the sinking middle class.

Standing up, refusing to take it anymore, and fighting back is the American way, it may be rough for a short period of time, due to the instability from attacks and clashes, but ultimately, the middle/ lower classes will triumph, they have the numbers, the 1%ers do not.
In theory, I agree. We, the ordinary middle class and the poor, have to stand up to that greedy and controlling 1%. I just don't like the ugliness of it. Would be fine once it's over and we've put them in their place.
Either that or the 1% wise up and implement some form of democratic socialism to help the underlings so we aren't reduced to being their slaves. But history has shown that not too many countries are smart enough to do that.
It's not just those that come legally he supports. It's those who come illegally also.
ICE officers who endorsed President Trump in 2016 now say he has failed to follow through on his get-tough promises, saying catch-and-release of immigrants living illegally in the U.S. is not only still happening, but has gone into “overdrive.”
The fraud continues. It's all about big business, nothing else and as long as they can continue to keep people separated they win.
