Reading Conway's OP-ED in the WaPo. He made good points.

But Mueller isn’t prone to cheap shots; he plays by the rules, every step of the way. If his report doesn’t exonerate the president, there must be something pretty damning in it about him, even if it might not suffice to prove a crime beyond a reasonable doubt. And in saying that the report “catalogu[ed] the President’s actions, many of which took place in public view,” Barr’s letter makes clear that the report also catalogues actions taken privately that shed light on possible obstruction, actions that the American people and Congress yet know nothing about.

spinning so much we should all be dizzy...

So, lack of evidence...means there must be some damning evidence.

I don't know who's the biggest idiot...this guy...or the people that are buying into it

If Mueller found any actionable evidence of obstruction....he would not have even said that

Mueller is just trying his best to come across as neutral...both sides have been attacking him
..and he's trying his best to get the ball as far as he can out of his court

..and that one statement covers Mueller's butt no matter which way Barr rules....smart move on Muller's part
and a very respectful and considerate move on Barr's part to put it in there

I don't blame him one bit....with all the wackos out there...this put him in a very dangerous position

Stop wasting your time watching nutter YouTube videos, it is severely affecting your perception of the country. Bonus: if you used that wasted time working a side job you could finally move out of your parent’s house.

I wasn't talking about hurtling opposite to that. My fear, based on Congress' unwillingness to rein in this president and the alarming illogical, irrational comments and behavior of his supporters, now buttressed by what they perceive to be a "win" - when, in fact, the Mueller report is far from a win - i.e., mountains of evidence of bad behavior but not sufficiently criminal - is what worries me. Hopefully, 2020 election will end the Trump presidency nightmare.

Deflecting so much it's hypocritical.
It's really hard for his supporters to believe that Individual 1 is a liar and corrupt con. I feel sorry for people that buy into his lies. He believes Putin! Your argument doesn't hold because if he did nothing, he would have been completely exonerated. If Mueller found nothing, he would be exonerated. The country has never had such a corrupt president so it is plausible that he would hesitate in his decision. Release the report then McConnell can brag away. Doubt it. With more investigations to go, it's a small drop in the bucket.

This is clear:No one should have been surprised that it raised, as Attorney General William P. Barr’s letter put it, quoting Mueller, “ ‘difficult issues’ of law and fact concerning whether the President’s actions and intent could be viewed as obstruction.

As he said, there are many things including” Barr’s letter makes clear that the report also catalogs actions taken privately that shed light on possible obstruction, actions that the American people and Congress yet know nothing about.

There are many people here that don't buy into the lies that are right in front of our faces. We need to see the report. I'm going with a conservative lawyer who has worked in DC for many years instead of drawing a conclusion based on Individual 1 supporters opinions. They've already shown he could shoot someone and his supporters would back him. No credibility. He basically said his supporters are wackos.

His base keeps shrinking. He has the lowest approval ratings of any president. The American people are paying attention. Even conservatives don't want to be associated with him. The only reason Graham and the other conservatives are rallying around him is because of their upcoming primaries. 2 years ago, Graham blasted him as a person, not politically. Imagine how they feel to be around a deplorable every day.

Just want to see the report is all. Why should we take Trump's AG's word for it? If the report exonerates him, then he shouldn't have a problem with everybody seeing it.
