What do conservatives and libs have in common? Disregard for freedom, the need to control others and the major policies of war, welfare, socialism, spending, corruption, taxes and debt.
In summary the two work together to support the largest most expensive govt. in the history of the planet.

Lightbulb Conservatives and Liberals: What Do We Have in Common?

Much more than what separates us.

It's a shame that slack-jawed bigots on certain media outlets keep ratcheting up divisive rhetoric, focusing on narrow topics in order to create and widen the split.

And now, their top spokesman occupies the White House. Instead of leadership, he offers only bigotry and hatred.

His failed term in office may lead to a badly needed healing.

Better days are ahead.

To preserve their way of life, the very wealthy are prepared to sacrifice the living standards of the middle and lower classes.

First off........let us get one thing very clear. The term liberal has been taken by the left to try and make them appear nice and caring for the people, like the word progressive. Both words were stolen by the most hateful group of un-American hucksters to ever inhabit this country......the left.

Yet liberals say nothing about it. Why?.....I have found the true liberal to be in the middle.

My guess is both parties are stupid and so are those who keep being easily led astray by the media. Neither party cares about the country just thier selfish wants.

So much for being positive.

What do they have in common?

1. Rigid, doctrinaire thinking.

2. The remarkable ability to accept one set of facts as the Gospel, while rejecting another set of facts as nothing more than a bunch of lies.

3. Choosing ideology over objective thinking. Declaring oneself a liberal or a conservative is the equivalent of taking a math test and writing the number 5 in all the blanks. There will be times when you are dead on. There will be times when you will be close to correct. And there will be times when you are disastrously wrong.

4. A smug and overweening confirmation bias.

Yes, I think we can agree on this. It's a shame that the entire profession tends to get grouped together as either "good guys" or "bad guys." So a few bad guys mixed in with the good guys puts everyone in danger, cops and non-cops alike.
