SNL has always been liberal Jews demonstrating hatred towards white Christians and that hasn't changed from its inception till now...I'm okay with Trump choosing to fight them however he legally chooses to.
These same people praising Trump for his SNL attack will wet their pants should the next democrat president ask for an investigation into Hannity, Tucker and Limbaugh.

SNL is to 'comedy', as Glenn Beck is to the 'news'. We should start by acknowledging it isn't a comedy show anymore, per se. It's a Democratic Party propaganda show now, that tries to disguise itself as a comedy show. I don't begrudge them their politics, but let's call a spade, a spade.
Do they deserve to be investigated? No. Not unless there's evidence of a crime. If cast members or writers are taking money from the DNC or left wing activists to slam Trump non-stop, which wouldn't surprise anyone, then they should be charged as unregistered lobbyists & fired from the show. However, that's only if there's proof of a crime. What we can't do is start investigating people, looking for a crime.

Comedy is funny because it is based on truth. Exaggerated, parodied, twisted but with a little or a lot of truth.
SNL isn't funny, because political activism isn't funny. It's also not 1983 anymore, where there are only 3 channels to choose from on Saturday night. Their vehicle is dying. Their format is dying. The best thing Trump can do, is let them die on their own.
