All the anti-vaxxers have perished via preventable illness. Thus, they are not able to comment on this thread at this time.

Jokes aside, anti-vax is the dumbest thing ever.

Saying you're provaxx is like saying you're pro-seafood.

Do you know everything about all seafood?
Would you blindly eat every type of seafood because someone told they were all good and exactly the same?

Or would you do your own homework and make individual decisions on a case by case basis?

Pro-vax because I am thinking of the kids. Also, it is important to see a doctor when necessary.

Do you trust science and empirical evidence or YouTube videos? So you read a couple websites and you think you know more than people who studied this for years?

cant say pro and anti. there are vaccines that are good and should be given. there are others that are not so good and should be up to the person that would be receiving the vaccine in question.

for instance years ago i got a tetanus vaccine, but i refuse to get a flu vaccine.

Statist logic:
"I believe in personal freedom and pro choice!"
"Anyone who questions the ever growing amount of vaccines is guilty of child abuse and should have their kids taken away!"

Of course abortions up to full term are totally cool, but once that baby is born, he/she better have all the vaccinations or else!

I came from a foreign country and it was a requirement to be vaccinated. I thank God I was. I got more vaccinations than the normal United States citizen and no adverse effects. I have also never been sick.

The government has earned our distrust. I think the pharmaceuticals have [also earned our mistrust]...This is the problem when institutions lose their moral authority. We know that the government has suppressed information and withheld information. We know that the medical establishment has suppressed information and withheld information...So that at this point, even when they say something that we should listen to, people have a skepticism...and that's the real problem. This is what happens when...we don't believe our government enough and we don't believe our medical establishment enough. The answer is not to tell us we're kooks, but for them to get their act together so that they are more trustworthy again. --Marianne Williamson

Of course, as to the end of that statement, I don't think our government will ever be trustworthy enough--at least not without a major revolution. But at least this woman is assessing the core problem accurately.
