Whether congress has the "right" is debatable. They don't have the right, per the law, to pull documents anytime they like. Unless they are willing to bring charges, they can't go on unlimited fishing trips. Don't you agree?

Nope.

You guys are claiming that Trump has broken the law. We simply demand proof of it. Fired employee hearsay and NYT derangement doesn't even come close to it.

Where's the Proof? Is it coming from the Bank? Nope. Is it coming from law enforcement? Nope. Has Tammy McFadden gone to authorities with these accusations & proof? Nope.

3 strikes, you're out. This is Trump Derangement & Fake News.

You asserted three Nopes without any evidence or links to support them. Grasping at straws, eh?

"Is it coming from the Bank?" -- ultimately, yes. Congress subpoenaed Trump's Deutsche Bank records. Trump is fighting that subpoena in court. Odds are better than 50/50 that Congress will win in court and get the records. Congress has a Constitutional mandate to conduct oversight.

Americans have a right to know if the president and his son-in-law are running a money laundering operation on the side.

Who claimed Trump had broken the law? The Times simply reported that there were SARs prepared for Trump and Kushner's companies but that Deutsche Bank, a lender notorious for their lax oversight, quashed them before they were sent to the Treasury Department. Maybe there are perfectly legal explanations for the suspicious activity. I would be happy if Trump released his financial records and explained them instead of doggedly fighting to keep them secret.

There is little chance Trump didn't have involvement with Russian laundered money at some point in the past considering the type of business he was in and that no reputable banks wanted anything to do with him.

This is what he is obviously hiding. Bottom line is right wingers hate liberals more than they do dirty money and a con man being in the White House, so this situation doesn't matter to them in terms of supporting said crook.

There's only ONE reason large sums of money would flow back and forth between Kushner/Trump Inc. and Russian individuals: money laundering.

No wonder Trump said that digging into his finances would cross a "red line." Too many skeletons in his closet.

"In 2016 and 2017, the fraud unit at Deutsche Bank, the financial institution whose name has come up repeatedly during the Special Counsel investigation, flagged bank accounts belonging to Donald Trump and Jared Kushner for suspicious activity. People who worked for the bank who specialized in detecting money laundering recommended that the accounts be reported to federal financial crimes groups."

"McFadden (the bank's anti-laundering specialist) herself looked at the accounts in question and discovered that Kushner had passed a lot of money to Russians – precisely during the same time frame that Trump was running for President and the Russians were trying to influence our electoral process."

Congress subpoenaed the bank records. They could verify that our president was running a criminal enterprise on the side.

No surprise here, Donald Trump is corrupt!

Is there anyone alive who doesn't know that the dotard took Russian money, laundered it through Wilber Ross' bank in Cypress, and sent it to Saudi Arabia?

As a result, we don't say anything negative about Putin/Russia, Ross is secretary of Commerce, and the Saudi's murdered an American journalist and our prez just shrugs.

The Donald has NO money. No wealth. It is all about cash flow. Skimming from hotels, golf courses, naming fees, and anywhere else he can scrounge up a little cash. No western bank will lend to him because he has defrauded them. His only sources of money outside of what he can skim from his businesses comes from the gray market.

In time this will become public info and what every New Yorker already knows will become "news" to the rest of the nation.

("But - but - but ...... Don't you UNDERSTAND??!! The account was FLAGGED!!!!).
Nah. No one cares.

Americans have a right to know if the president and his son-in-law are running a money laundering operation on the side.

Mueller DID subpoena those records and found nothing. The rest of your argument is silly logical fallacy. Americans do have that right. The justice system of the USA found that Trump had done nothing illegal.

So now you and crazed Democrats move goal post.

Miserable day for you I guess. NYT has you worked up yet again, and you lack ability to see through it.
