Doubtful. Where did I say it was a bad thing? In typical Trump fashion he did it for praise not because he was being generous.
Who cares why he did it as long as it is not immoral? He didn't have to do it. He could have only gave half of it, or 25% - and it still would have been good.
You somehow felt the need to diminish his generosity.

If it was a TRULY selfish act, why the need to brag about it? Good for him but This was about his ego just like every thing else he does. You know this to be true but you can’t admit it.
Trump donating 100K is roughly equal to a median person donating 100 bucks.
Done for the adoration. Not a bad recipient.

Trump keeps his word and donates his salary as he has done. No one has said anything with his past donations over the last 2 years. They were actual donations. For some reason, it triggers you to respond negatively.
Some self examination may be necessary if you can't accept a man making donations to causes he believes in.

If he didn't make note of it, there would be questions that he made the donations at all.
Now - I completely understand that he is prone to lift himself up. That's who he is as well. He still gives $100K every quarter. I can overlook him praising himself for that.
