The left want as many illegals as possible, in order to gain more political power. Even though they technical can't vote (yet), their numbers are counted in the census and that results in higher representation in congress.
And eventually they have kids who can vote, or they get amnestied and get to vote themselves in addition to their kids.
I understand that completely, but, those who benefitted will continue to do so when, NOT If, the next illegal shows up looking for work under the table.
Of course, those people cheat their neighbors, and I oppose it. I support the use of e-verify and other measures to address the problem.
I'd say they are the lesser of the two evils. I agree that taxation is theft, but a small amount is OK in order to run the country. But no one should be forced to pay for others children, welfare, education and healthcare.
A small amount of malignant cancer is still going to kill you.
A small amount of arsenic is still toxic.
No one should be forced to pay for anything without their consent.
Don't worry. No one is discussing closing the Canadian border. Calm down
Oh, calmness is my middle name.
Although.... perhaps a tad incredulous at an American suggesting it's "arrogant" to express an opinion as to how a foreign country might be run; now that was sublime right there.

LOL! You are not "calm" as you've been ranting away in this thread
Yes, it is "arrogant" of you as you don't live here.
I don't tell Canadians how to run their country. Do you know why that is? It's because I don't live there and as a result, I can't say what day-to-day life is like there. I will read articles about Canada and will lurk in the comment section as it is interesting to see how the locals feel about the issues. However, I will only lurk. It would be awfully presumptuous for me to tell Canadians what to do, think or say.
God are we still on this fictional "border crisis"? The whole "build the wall" idea is so utterly asinine. Let's focus on the real issues.
Get a clue.
