I find male speedos and big beer bellies spilling over pants and wifebeater shirts and mullets offensive, but it's not up to me to go to men and ask them to please reconsider their choice of attire/hairstyle. I just think, "ew," and go on about my day. You could do the same thing when you see brazen hussies wearing leggings, maybe.

When it comes to leggings, a nice rump is appreciated, albeit objectified.
Again: Because people should wear clothing to satisfy the aesthetic preferences of others?

There are a lot of things out there I'd rather not glance at but I like to be free to dress as I please so must afford others the same freedoms even if I dont particularly like it.

It's not SJWs, LOL. They don't bring up modesty and God when asking others to change their behavior. Look to the other side....

Exactly! I've been near those people during my time on this earth. It's disconcerting. I can't imagine ever just reaching out and grabbing someone for any reason, but especially not because of how they've dressed. It's weird.

It seems illogical to me that respect would depend on clothing choices. The people who think this way must start off every phone conversation with, "What are you wearing so I know whether to respect you or not." I wonder how blind people know whether they should show respect toward others if they have no idea if a woman is wearing leggings. Do they smack her with a cane to determine what material is covering her buttocks?

I'm going to start calling men "immodest" if they aren't wearing socks with sandals.

If a woman wants to leave nothing to the imagination its her right, one I fully support.

I have an eye for beauty of any type (music, engineering, people, nature) and can certainly say that either men or women in tights don't usually make the cut.

Occasionally my eye is drawn to those who stop in the same bagel places I do or Whole Food (a whole NEW type of yoga pants wearer)....and it's mostly something that makes me chuckle inside.

This is perhaps my reason for not caring about leggings.....either way.

I could see my way through to having graduate and doctoral candidates following a different set of standards...sort of like the old "men must wear jackets" or "FBI common attire" type of thing. It imparts a certain air of seriousness.

But I certainly wouldn't put it in my top 30 social issues.

Intelligence? LMAO

We are asking humans to wear certain clothes to show modesty at a building grown people go to and worship a God who is ruling their life. I think intelligence flew out the window a while ago. Why not just add a dress code to church and move on. It's simple, and not unheard of, a lot of the religious do this. Their men have control issues, which I believe is the topic.

Her sons might as well just transfer to a new school now and save themselves several years worth of mocking and embarrassment.

Does the mom think that the altar boys should have dressed more modestly to avoid tempting the priests too?

Legging Mom needs to crack open the Bible:

"And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire."

I only have the KJV, maybe one of the more modern versions added a 'if thy harlots be wearing leggings' exemption.
OMG, that's so funny. Had to rep you the old fashion way.

naw, its slightly more complicated than that. Honestly, clothes arent meant to be that tight on anyone, nothing wrong with being comfortable, but if I can draw an outline of your private parts, then you are basically just walking around naked.

That's why they're comfortable.

The invention of the leggings was a great thing, it suffices as clothing but you feel naked. Perfect.
