My dad is 72 and can still toss a baseball or a football.

President Trump's problem would more likely be his general physical fitness and his lack of athletic ability, vs. simply a question of age.

Trump DID want to use his own plane but was told UNDER THE LAW he could NOT due to SECURITY reasons.

Security ≠ plane

Why should I have my income stolen from me to pay for the security detail of politicians?

That's not a reason to throw out the first pitch.

I'm not exactly seeing where it says in the Constitution where a President has to throw out the first pitch.

I guess Trump wasn't feeling it.

I'll feel it, if and when professional baseball ever returns to the US.

I have no interest in what are essentially glorified minor league teams.

The expansion from 24 teams diluted the talent pool and caused the quality of play to decline drastically. You have players who would never have made it out of the minors, because they suck, but now they're, um, "professionals."

The spike in errors per game, because you have horrid players who should be shot for even thinking about walking anywhere near a major league stadium, was conveniently addressed by ruling everything an "infield hit" instead of an error, which of course artificially inflates batting averages.

Great, your dad still can. Im 56 and can throw a football for a few passes before the shoulder is screwed. I pitched on my little league and HS baseball Team. I As long as I don't throw hard I can throw the ball for a little while. The shoulder is shot. Most people from not using those muscle groups or the range of motion will lose the ability to throw. Just because your dad can doesn't mean that he is the norm. In fact Ill say that your dad is exceptional. I would love to watch him play ball and I mean that with all sincerity.

Remember when Hillary refused to partake in the traditional "first lady cookie baking contest"? I do.

Keep him out of sports. He don’t really like them. Wish could keep him out of govt - he hates it too.

I have to pretty much agree with you re the bolded. He wasn't really a happy camper before he ran for President, and now is probably much less so.
