Brexit here in the UK and Trump in the USA. Populism has truly taken over the most populous and powerful countries in the Anglosphere that were once looked up to. Why has this happened? If you look at Trump and Brexit, the gatherings are mostly comprised of older generation white people. Why did the most privileged group in society feel the need to push for change?
I guess that's why such people (angry older white males) are afraid of people like Heidi Allen, Jess Philips here in the UK and AOC in the USA. They represent a threat to the real 'establishment'.

Liberalism is a precursor to societal collapse. Pick your poison. Since I enjoy the amenities afforded to us in this great nation and modern society, I will do everything I can to protect my nation and way of life. That includes supporting candidates who seek to strengthen my nation, not tear it down, "radically and fundamentally" change it, and insult it every chance they get.
And precisely no one is afraid of AOC. Everyone is just wondering why there is a bartender dressed up as a politician, pretending to know what the hell she is talking about. But the democrats have many clowns posing as politicians, and several of those clowns are running for president in 2020, so whatever.
Take a look at Europe. It's weak, and it's dying. Thank Gorge Soros and an overdose of liberalism. Russia will make short work of them, and the only recourse will be to beg America for military help, because they were too limp wristed to invest in their own defense. More important things to do, like flood their continent with migrants and give them welfare and such.
You all should listen to Poland and Hungry more often, instead of socialist short sighted Germany.

And some dictatorial type, telling the people that he's going to fix everything for them, that he is the only one who can do it, and everyone else is a liar, be afraid, I am the only one who can save you--brainwashing the people--that's trouble and could lead to fascism.
I just oppose privilege and the populism that hss plunged the UK and USA back 100 years.
