Paramedics quickly arrived and took the victim to a hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Miles said officers asked him if a man dressed as a pirate had come into the roller rink, but he hadn’t seen anyone like that.
A sword wielding pirate wearing a MAGA hat outside a roller rink. And some virtue signaling idiot tries to attack it expecting nothing to happen.
Lesson - don't grab at people's hats or bodies certainly if they are armed pirates but even regular people can and will fight off attackers. The pirate did nothing wrong.

Was the Pirate wearing a MAGA hat, or was that coincidental that the police were also hunting a pirate, and then a man formerly wearing a MAGA hat carrying a sword? If it was a pirate wouldn't he be carrying a cutlass, not a sword? Inquiring minds want to know.
I think if I saw a pirate wearing a ball cap, the last thing on my mind might be that it's a MAGA hat, the dressed like a pirate thing kind of overrides any slight interest I may have in his hat, unless it's a cool tricorn.
It's kind of bizarro vision, even thinking about it.
Kind of funny how all three of the various reports I read said the MAGA hat 'fell off his head' as the guy who was stabbed passed by him.
Also weird, why would the MAGA pirate (lots of other questions about that) yell homophobic slurs at a man and his girlfriend?
