Travis, I thought it was pretty clear. Donald Trump and his supporters need enemies to focus their rage. If they don’t have a legitimate target, they create one, like a 29 year old freshman congresswoman from the Bronx.
And who are those targets? Usually they fit into the category of “the other”.
Trumpism is ultimately based upon the political exploitation of fear of societal change and those that represent it.
