OK, then...SS will be adjusted for inflation. Where is THAT money going to come from? SS is going bankrupt as it is.

And IF wages go up, and then prices go up, pretty soon liberals will be crying that $15 hour isn't enough anymore. A never-ending cycle.

OK, let me get this straight. (I'm just trying to understand the liberal mindset).

We should provide all sorts of support for illegal aliens, and elderly people should be grateful to eat cat food?

I have a much better idea.

Divert the billions spent on illegals back to the American income theft victims so they can voluntarily contribute to the elderly if they are so inclined. Eliminate the minimum wage completely and let the market set the wages. Abolish the Federal Reserve and stop the debasing of the currency.

Who is going to be forced to fund those vocational training programs? Do I have the option to opt out of paying for the education of other people?

Obama had our troop levels down to the lowest point since WWII. Thanks, but no thanks.
Obama had higher military budgets than Bush every single year of his term.

If you want to contribute to a worldwide military empire with 700 military installations in 80 countries then you pay for it out of your own pocket.

So you'd rather not comment on the main point of the post you replied to: The MIC beast needs MORE, MORE, MORE! ?

Were you the poster I was talking to yesterday who I said wasn't being realistic? What you just laid out will never happen. Let's deal with what we have now: divert the $100b for illegals to the elderly. It's a start.

Really? See a lot of people over 80 in fast food places and Walmart? What about outrageous prescription drug hikes? Isn't it more likely those over 80 are more affected by them than the price of a Big Mac? Are those drugs the work of unskilled workers?
