I did the same thing lol.

It seems the OP and company always want to act like they are being victimized for their prejudicial, racist, and/or xenophobic views when they are not.

I was also going to note that Amazon is a "marketplace" and that various businesses sell items on Amazon so anyone can create an account and sell things there that fit the OPs racist/prejudiced taste as long as they follow Amazon's TOS.

Amazon Is on a Digital Book Burning Spree (Breitbart)

Under pressure from left-wing journalists and activists, Amazon is purging right-wing authors from its store, including a book co-authored by English Islam critic and independent commentator Tommy Robinson.

However....

Two of the most destructive books in history, Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf and The Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels are available for purchase. So too are books by black nationalist Louis Farrakhan, notorious for his racist and anti-semitic comments — so it seems racial hatred isn’t subject to a blanket ban on Amazon either.

In the comments section, one person relates the similarity of Bezos to Dr. Evil.
Shouldn't businesses be allowed to choose what products they sell or don't sell?

From the linked article:
Quote:
Amazon began its new round of purges by targeting the white nationalist fringe. In February, the tech giant banned a number of books from white identitarian Jared Taylor, and a book called The White Nationalist Manifesto by Greg Johnson.

This followed bans on Holocaust revisionist books in 2017, and a purge of all books by controversial pickup blogger and author Daryush “Roosh” Valizadeh in 2018.

As with financial blacklisting, a censorship spree that starts by targeting extreme ideas quickly moves towards the censorship of more mainstream ones. In early March, the online retailer banned Muhammed’s Koran: Why Muslims Kill for Islam, a Chronological Koran and critique of the Islamic religion co-authored by British populist Tommy Robinson.

The book is a chronological reordering of the Islamic Koran, followed by commentary by Robinson and his co-author, Peter McLoughlin. Amazon did not return Breitbart News’ request for an explanation of why the book was banned.
I just tried to look up "Muhammed’s Koran: Why Muslims Kill for Islam" in Amazon.com. It didn't come up. Other books with titles containing "Muslim" and "Muhammed" and "Koran" did come up.

If Amazon is not banning books, why didn't this title come up?

TRANSLATION: Maybe I can fool somebody somewhere into believing that if Amazon doesn't ban some of his books, banning one of them isn't a ban at all, somehow.

That only applies to right-leaning businesses. Conservatives seem to feel that every other private site or social media platform MUST be forced to cater to them whether they want to or not. We see it here again and again and again.

Sure enough, "Muhammed’s Koran: Why Muslims Kill for Islam" didn't come up.

Thanks for proving the Breitbart article correct.

Amazon did indeed ban the book.

You were right: It is so easy to vet this stuff.

So Amazon not carrying one book equals a "book burning spree" now?

(patiently)

Several titles were mentioned in the article that Amazon is banning.

Read the article. Or get someone to read it to you.
