I would like to see people organize against the state and its thieving politicians, but Im pretty sure that isn't on Sanders agenda.
What was the GDP growth during the 40% heyday of labor unions and what was the annual median income growth? Was it the highest in the history of America? I think it was. Whats so bad about that?

All Bernie is doing here is trying to win votes. He is either too stupid, or naive, or willfully ignorant of the process, to understand that labor unions are nothing more than a weight in the balance of power. You HAVE to have balance, and a man who has never done anything but live as a parasite, does NOT know that.
He is a US senator who has resisted the big money donor class for decades and stood with labor, unlike the vast majority of the members of Congress. You think thats a bad thing?

So which politician have you voted for and who were their major donors?

What does any of it have to do with union participation, which again has always been less than half the workforce at a given time?

He's fighting for a lost cause. The suckers that follow him are generally young and clueless.

Again, Bernie Sanders is a parasite. It's all he has ever been.
So you have nothing but name calling.

Labor unions set labor standards that effect the entire labor market, not only the organized workers. It improves the bargaining power of the entire workforce.

Unions are a thing of the past. Why do you cling to this counterproductive system of employment?

No one ever got rich working as a rank and file employee. Unions are for the weak-minded.

By all means, continue to vote for him. Seriously. That is your right as an American. It is also your right to worship him and believe everything he says.

But I don't have to.
Of course not. I am just interested in having a discussion about the significance of labor unions without name calling.

I see this phrase being mentioned several times. Yet, labor unions is a relatively recent phenomenon. The history of the worker is the history of unorganized work. What was great about the time period before labor unions were strong? What was the labor rights back then?
