Yes...we have each other wrong, but you started it I was joking about how the left lost their billions on the carbon trading scam.

A 1989 story predicting some nations could disappear by the year 2000
It doesn't say nations will disappear by 2000, it says "if the global warming trend is not reversed by the year 2000".

Why do deniers are to always twist and contort? Because they don't have any scientific research on their side that supports their arguments.

Back when there was such a thing as Enron, they wanted to be the Grand Goombahs of Climate Grift. Their aim was to be the world's largest broker of carbon credits.

Now that goal is coveted by none other than Al Gore, who has a personal carbon footprint equivalent to that of the entire nation of Myanmar. And to that end, Big Al himself has made a number of craptastic climate predictions, all of which have been hilariously and ignominiously wrong.

I mean...these guys are never right. Not even in the "broken clock" sense. They're always wrong in their predictions. You'd think they'd get tired of being wrong all the time. I guess that's why they've had to stretch the timeline for their predictions out several decades/centuries instead of just a few years. That way, everybody who hears their silly predictions today will be long dead when those, also, turn out to be ludicrously wrong.

People forget the carbon trading scam. Tens of billions of dollars at stake...follow the money as they say.

Well, when I was in elementary school, the "alarmists" were saying we were in for another ice age. We had had several years of cold weather-the story was all the pollution we were putting in the air was blocking the sunlight and resulting in cooling. We had a nutty enviro teacher in IIRC 3rd or 4th grade, she used to bring in all the magazines quoting the "experts" on the coming ice age. I grew up around Buffalo-when the blizzard of '77 hit, you had to wonder if the alarmists weren't right.

The so-called "experts" are always right! Like global warming, "climate change" will soon be phased out for the next fear-mongering catchphrase.
