And BTW, she lied about about being opposed to the anti-Semitic BDS group before the election to fool the Jews. Once she won, she proudly pledged her support.
What are you referring to specifically when you say she has done awful things that involve antisemitism? The two Twitter posts? Or is there something else I’m missing here?

Exactly. Her "anti-Semitic remarks" were not. She did not criticize the Jewish people; she criticized the policies of the Netanyahu government.

I also read her 9/11 comments. Considered fully in context, she was not dismissive of the 9/11 victims at all. She's right, the reaction following 9/11 led to a rise in Islamophobia, that's indisputable.

It's just the usual right wing distortion and propaganda machine at play.

oh yeah imagine if Trump had commented on the incident in New Zealand as "some guy who just did something" you know every Democrat and left leaning person in the world and also Muslim groups would be up in arms over it saying he is awful and covering for and dismissing a white supremacists.

Again, a perfect example of a leftist refusing to acknowledge antisemitism in his party while concurrently making excuses for the Muslim Congresswoman who demonstrated it and expressing concern for the rise in Islamophobia.

She didn't criticize Israeli policies - she criticized AIPAC and the Jewish money that supports it. Then she runs off to speak at CAIR and tells Muslims to "raise hell."

Because Muslims are allowed to be anti-Semitic?

I think the President should have her locked up and do a investigation into her before releasing her. She should be held to a higher standard because she’s in a position to do great harm. Probably where her handlers wanted her.

Maybe I can’t relate to this because I’m a Roman Catholic. However, I’m still having difficulty understanding the outrage here. She’s critical of the influence of a powerful lobbying group in Washington and she wants Muslims like herself to stand up against mistreatment and discrimination....so what?

I personally don’t have an issue with trashing lobbying groups as I think they all pretty much suck and I also think that mistreatment and discrimination is bad....so again, what’s the big deal?

She represents the Somalian population in an obscure portion of America. It is the only place in America where she could be elected. The media is a megaphone for everything she says, and in that way she is a tool useful for destroying the Democrat party.
NO reasonable, independent voter would vote for the party which includes Omar.

I'd say it's foolish to vote for a party and not the person. But, if you really wanna make it by party, i'd say no reasonably sane, conscious, independent voter would vote for the party that includes Trump.

Far too many in these forums are incapable of distinguishing the vast difference between a religion and a nation.

So should Trump, but you'll never admit that, right?
