I don't know about this one. Trains can be pretty prone to accidents a lot of the time and shipping LNG on them through inhabited areas can lead to some bad situations. If one of those tankers were to split open in an accident and the LNG convert to its gaseous state mixed with air what you have is a big FAE. Fuel Air Explosive BOMB. I can see the rolling stock used to carry it being designed for maximum safety but then I can see those carriages being really expensive too. It doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
