Only in the eyes of people who support illegal immigration.....

I like the idea. If you support illegal immigration then you should have to deal with everything that comes with it.

What a puzzle!

Democrats want these people released ASAP! Sanctuary Cities go to Court and advertise that they are proud to be Sanctuaries - they battle it out to keep their Sanctuary Statlus and even pass Laws local/state to make sure the remain Sanctuary Cities.

So it certainly seems like a welcome solution to the Left to deliver the illegal and detained to these "Sanctuaries" and free them as demanded. There is no more space for them in any of the detention centers - lawsuits are stopping detentions and stopping all plans for detention.

Why are the Democrats so upset about set them free in "safe spaces"??

It's certainly a real puzzle.

What does your comment have to do with the discussion at hand?
Because you are trying to justify why illegal aliens should be here

The plan was to take busloads of folks from the other side of the border.

Sanctuary cities would prefer the President processed those folks appropriately and then once on USA soil -- maybe deliver them to Sanctuary cities.

But to even consider a scheme just to 'get back' at politicians you don't agree with -- like the purposely separating parents and children as 'punishment'....is not effective strategy.

This is the kind of swampy behavior we were suppose to be getting rid of.

This administration is proving they are petty, childish and more about the 'show' than actually solving any real problems.

It is disgusting.

And there is no shame - oh yeah we floated that idea.....WHAT?

And here is the thing -- if you are advocating that the President of the USA should focus on policies that 'punish' his opponents -- you better be ready for the backlash when the other folks are in charge.

No, I'm not. If that's what you got from my post, you need to improve your reading comprehension skills.

that's no different than the current situation. this way, at least they'd start off with the people who shed so many tears over them.

how is it 'punishment' to give folks the very thing they constantly advocate for?

No this won't work. Why would you reward the Illegal Aliens bad behavior by releasing them in the US. this catch and release would not work to benefit the American people. It would be more appropriate to punish the sanctuary cities with a fines and penalties for abetting these Illegals to remain in the US.
