Because segregation throughout American history and in the context of primary education was done solely on the basis of racism.

The main person supporting Biden in this fight was from the poorest state in the union and a state that has traditionally been most hostile to Civil Rights for African Americans, so it damn sure wasn't about claas.

Any reasonably intelligent person who is complicit in such a fight is effectively dog whistling for the agenda segregationists such as James Eastland wanted to achieve.

This is pretty funny. A series of 'man on the street' interviews where college students are asked about various quotes from Joe Biden. 99.9% answer that they thought they were Trump quotes.

To their credit, when the actual source was revealed, namely Biden, the students all said that they would have to reconsider their votes.
